Section 1. Commitment to your privacy.
This website is owned and operated by Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship in America (hereinafter ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’, or ‘FG/America’) Privacy on this website is important to us. The cornerstone of our Privacy Policy is the commitment to keep all personal information confidential. Because we gather certain information about our Members, Camp and Conference Registrants and other Users, (hereinafter ‘you’, ‘your’, or ‘Users’), we believe you should fully understand our Privacy Policy and the terms and conditions related to the capture and use of that information. At FG/America we want your experience online to be user-friendly, safe and secure.
Section 2. Security.
FG/America operates only a secure network protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized persons have access to confidential information provided by the Users of this website. FG/America does not sell, license, lease, exchange, or otherwise disclose your personal information to any third party for any reason, except as noted below and as required by law. FG/America will continue to follow our Privacy Policy with respect to your personal information even after our business relationship no longer exists.
Section 3. Information Gathered.
There are several important and necessary purposes for which we gather information. We collect personal information required to serve you effectively and efficiently. FG/America gathers two types of information from Users of this website. Group 1: Information that Users provide through optional, voluntary submissions. These are voluntary submissions to receive electronic newsletters, to participate in message boards or forums, queries about FG/America, and other non-monetary matters about which the User seeks information. Group 2: Information that Users (Members, Conference Registrants, Camp Registrants, and other Users in similar situations) provide to FG/America in order to become a Member, administer corporate activities, register for Conferences, Camps, or other events scheduled
by FG/America, purchase merchandise and materials, or transact some other monetary matter.
The information collected may include your name, postal address, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, chapter affiliation, occupation, registration data, credit card numbers, expiration dates and
code numbers.
California and Vermont residents. Non-public information of California and Vermont residents will NOT be shared with non-affiliated third parties. This exclusion does not apply if FG/America needs to disclose the information (1) to effect, service, administer, or process transactions, or service the User as authorized or requested, (2) to protect against fraud, liability, or damages to property, (3) to respond to judicial process in connection with settling a transaction, or (4) as otherwise permitted by law.
To serve Members and other Users, FG/America will share information only as appropriate to provide you quality service under secure conditions. Such information will be shared only as permitted by federal and state laws (1) with bankcard providers and intermediaries, (2) with authorized volunteers serving as agents of FG/America, (3) with regulatory, law enforcement, and tax authorities, (4) with administrative officers and employees of FG/America, and (5) when necessary, to protect the rights and property of FG/America. Employees and volunteers serving in any capacity as directors, officers, or agents of FG/America who violate our Privacy Policy are subject to discipline which may include dismissal and/or removal from elected or appointed office.
Section 4. Sharing with Others.
FG/America does NOT have any affiliates with whom it would ordinarily share information. However, from time to time FG/America may share your name, postal and/or e-mail address in a joint effort with another organization with common interests, such as sponsoring a Convention, Camp, or Prayer Breakfast. To the extent that your name and address is shared for such purposes, the recipients are required to protect personal information in conformity with this Policy.1 You may ‘opt-out’ of the sharing arrangement with non-affiliated parties cited in the preceding paragraph. Please include your name and postal address in the body of the e-mail.
Section 5. Posting Original and Revisions to this Statement.
The User agrees to accept posting of any original or revised Privacy Policy Statement electronically on this website as actual notice. If FG/America significantly/materially changes this Policy, the revised Privacy Policy Statement will be promptly posted to the Website with a conspicuously posted notice of the revision on the Home Page; such notice shall be posted for 60 calendar days.
